I had originally thought of using slate in order to make a cave in my tank, after thinking about it for the past few days I have decided not to use it since it would be a bit to heavy and I didnt want to risk dropping it on accident. I have decided to use plexiglass for them instead and when I am finished with it I will post some pics of it and see what you guys think when it is done.

I have been designing several designs the past week and half so far and still plan to make some more designs which I may share with you guys if you are interested in seeing them.

I'd be interesting in seeing what you come up with. Sounds like a good idea for those species that hide all day. :good:

Here are some of my drawings that I have so far.

The top open parts are available for planting plants on the top of them and also the bars that are in front for Java Moss. More pics to come as soon as I am done scanning them.

WOW! I'm definately looking forward to seeing them when you're done. :good:

Some pics of the ones that I have made so far and some more designs of some others.
Forgive the messy sand need to clean it this weekend.

On this one I was still working on the shapes that I needed to make this one to get it right.
The colored parts are hallow with the one in the back being open in an L shape to the bottom.

Im scanning some more of my designs which will be up soon.
