Caught A Clam

Hey guys, I went dipnetting in a lake in Florida and caught a freshwater clam. I know that mussel babies harm fish and I am wondering if clams do the same thing. And if they do, do they reproduce asexually?

If it say it harms fish, I guess it does, but not sure
