he out grew his cave, still trying to make a bigger one but it kepps falling apart. that's why he's in my plants, at least i get to see him more often

i've had him for well over 1 yr now, he doesn't do anything special except when you have to change him tanks he crokes like a frog
the only sad part is he is nocturnal, when he hides, i don't see him very often, sometimes for months

they are called talking catfish over here...

unfortunalty ours didnt realise he'd outgrown his cave and got stuck.. as you say they are nocturnal - so we didn't miss him for a few days.

good fish the croaking catfish we have two and they hid together in there own little pipe and croak like mad when you move them
