Catfish Recommendations?

hello,

im considering getting 1-2 catfish to add to my tank, i love clown loaches and pictus catfish. can anyone recommend other types?

we need a bit more information than that
what sort do you want some catfish grown well over a few foot where as some only just grow over a few cm
how big is the tank?
what else is in there?

20g and barbs and mollies, i no pictus get big but i have a larger tank.

pictus and clowns need to be kept in groups and need 75g min
for the 20g i would say bns,corys, upsidedown catfish and things like that.

you could have 1 bn and 6 corys or 4 upsidedown catfish

or

2 bns

whats the actual tank dimensions?, ive seen some very stranged shaped 20 gallon tanks lol.

If the 20g is your average 2 foot tank then the suggestions are fine , there are amny other plecs other than BN's which could be kept though, dependant on what your looking for, how your tank is setup and temp it's kept at, the choices can be quite extensive.

well tank is 30" long 15" high and 12". so fine. tis a v old tank, don think there was other shapes the time this was built!

and as for type, as many suggestions as possible plz! the tank can be rearanged to suit it

that sound nice, i may have 6 - 8 mollies, im gona keep some fry, wht can i have then?

should be ok but just make sure you dont add all the fish at once space them out over about 6 months and add the bn last
