Catfish/plec Which Is Suitable For Sand Aquarium ?

ive got a large aquarium with severum cichlids, they grow large and are very colourful (bright yellow, look like marine fish) and id like a really nice catfish that wud suit the tank, the only thing is that ive got sand in it instead of gravel. ive had a common plec but had 2 rehouse it as i seen the mess it makes when it was gravel nevermind sand lol any1 got any ideas please as i dont want my tank getting messed up. all advice is appreciated, thankyou

i like the look of zebra pleco`s or maybe gold nugget plec but they get massive dont they and id like summit abit smaller but id like something which dosnt fly accross the bottom of the tank and lift everything up which my common plec did and with it being sand now the tank wud be a constant mess n cloudy, any ideas? big shark

How about a wormline pleco? They stay relatively small and ours does not mess up our sand tank. Not sure about compatible on water parameters though check planet catfish to be sure...wormline

Not had him that long, recent acquisition but has settled in really well. He/she is about 2.5" long (body not including fins) doing great in a sand tank really enjoying it!

yeah sounds good. do you see him/she alot? or is it like most other plecs n hide away most of the time. id like something thats active n wot ya can watch
