catfish fight

Hey,

Iv got 2 cory catfish that keep fighting with the neon tetras in my tank. Does anyone know why? Is there anything I can do to stop them?

I find it hard to believe that a cory cat would fight with anything. Are you sure that they are corries and not something that looks like them?

I'm 99% sure they are cory cat fish. They also dont seem to be getting on well with my betta? Any suggstions?

what are the contents of your tank (and what size)?

Its a 5gln hex. Iv got 1 betta, 2 cory catfish and half a dozen neon tetras.

wow, that tank is way over stocked! A hexagon tank is one of the wroset kind of tanks to have at such a small size. The poor tetras most really not have much room to swim.

Heres a suggestion or two
1. get rid of the tetras
2. buy a bigger tank

also, can you get a pic of the corries?

I am puzzled as to why a corrie would fight anything, even is such cramped conditions.

Buying another tank isnt an option so I will probably have to get rid of the tetras. I am hoping to get some pics up soon but am having problems getting hold of a digital camera
