Catfish Bubbles?

Hello, I was wondering if the bubbles my Pictus Catfish is making on the surface of the water is just a mating this, Similar to the Betta's bubble nests? I can get some pictures if I need to.. I was just curious whether or not this was odd behavior.

As far as iam aware<correct me if iam wrong, there to date have been no breeding of pictus in captivity,well atleast recorded details...so unsure of what they do as to breeding, i have a group of four fully matured, they have not shown any sign's of breeding or even odd behaviour, etc the chasing and grunting noises they make now and again, if you have some pictures of this bubble business would be intrested to see as mine have never done anything like that...

I'll most definitely get some when he starts making them again, he stopped doing it so much these past few days but I'll keep an eye out
