I threw 20 shrimp in my tank the other day, the bag they shipped in leaked and I panicked. Now I'd like them out, to put them in a different tank. The issue is there is a giant blob of moss, probably more than a cubic foot, that I can't seem to get them out of. I see them hanging out on the edges sometimes, but the moss is too dense to get a net through. They don't show any interest in peas or fish food either. Help please!

put some really tempting food like catfish wafers or shrimp pellets in a net and submerge the nest with it left open so the shrimp can get in the net and feed. They are usually great gluttons and will swarm all over the net even get in it to eat, then you can grab the net and scoop them out.

Also turn off the light when you do the net trick I've noticed that's the only way to get mine out of hiding.

Works well with snails put a bit of food in can't see why it shouldn't catch shrimp
