OK, So I just finised giving my kitten its first bath as it smelled like dogs and had fleas. Why get a cat when it smells like dog? :fun: Anyways, Is it normal for it to be meowing while I give it a bath? I used a little bucket thing to slowly pour the luke warm water on it, then use the flea and tick shampoo, and then rinsed it off with warm water. Now Its in the drying part of it. How do you guys dry the cat after its all wet? With a towel or a blow dryer? Its scared of the blow dryer so I'm just towel drying it :p

how many plasters do you have on your arms?

Plasters? Is that U.K term for Bandage? ...My kitten is nice and will never hurt me unless its wild and tries to jump on my lap and slips off then he lets his claws out and you see claw marks all the way down my leg :X :-( . Yeah but he didn't scratch me, hes used to me by now and knows that I won't hurt him ^_^

We liken our new son to a cat at bath time - hates the water and arms and legs everywhere to avoid the bath!

(yep plaster = Band-aid)

[off topic] Where abouts in San Jose are you? I Lived in cupertino for about 4 months a few years back :)[/off topic]

:hyper: :hyper: Why did you ever leave to the nasty U.K?!@$@$@#$@#$@#$ Though the U.S isnt that great. Lets all move to Canada. :fun: I'm in South San Jose do you still have your American accent or did you aquire a english accent?

Towel drying for the cats! If you use the hair dryer - you run a huge risk of hurting them or worse! :-( Sadly, Ive seen this first hand! I worked at a vet clinic for 3 years. If you DO decide you must use one, keep it on the lowest setting and at least a foot from the cat. A good towel drying and letting your kitten run around the house and dive into towels/chairs/blankets ect usually does the job quite well!!

I'm English but worked for a large US company - I worked over there for nearly 6 months and then went back every 3 months for conferences! My UK accent was quite popular over there!
San Diego was the best place I worked though. but was only there for a few weeks.

Unfortunatly they wanted me in the UK... then the company hit a hard time and the 4th wave of redundancies got me :( - It was nice while it lasted)

Oh, Thats a bummer! Yeah we sure do love accents as it is rare to find someone from the U.K in the U.S...Except for 3 weeks ago I was on m way to Las Vegas and stopped by Panda Express and saw 4 english people. It was funny how they were teaching the hispanic worker what a fork was ^_^

I love the UK, you mean, "why did you ever leave to the nasty UK". I know Blair aint nothing to write home about but come on!!

Anyway, i used to wash my can and end up with a shreaded arm LOL. Both my cats ran away. My mum let them out the first day we move here. Never seen em since. We asked our old neighbours to keep an eye out but no. I saw them a few times but whenever i went to get them they shot off. Well now i have 3 dogs.
Sorry quite off topic
