Am I stupid for crying over a fish?

DSCF0026-vi.jpg

No your not what I have read about bettas are that they are like the puppies of the fish world. I got upset when my 2 lil goldfish died I treated them the best I could and made them comfortable even bought them a lil no fishing sign for the tank to cheer them up. I would feel worse if I done nothing then I would not be a good fish keeper

No you are not stupid, he was your pet and you loved him! I cry when one of my fish dies...you are not alone. He was very beautiful and I am sorry for your loss.
RIP lil' fishy.

Beloved pets come in all sizes and shapes. There's nothing wrong with expressing your sorrow when a pet dies. I'm sorry to hear of your loss.

Sorry about Carter. It is ok to mourn a fish. We had a fish for two years and Speedy died in early August and I really miss him a lot!!! We got two more fish and they died within 2 weeks. So, I guess I will have to wait some more for the grieving process to get over with. So, don't be afraid to grieve awhile!!!!

Not at all, in my opinion any animal i have that is a pet is a member of my family and is treated as such. Cat, dog, fish or anything else, they all have personalities that make them unique and we get attached to them.
Sorry to hear of your loss :-(
