when i first bought it it was not looking so good

Definitely partially bleached. Is the mouth always closed like that or does it gape open ever? If you touch the tentacles gently does it feel sticky? If its mouth is closed and the tentacles sticky and responsive, go ahead and feed it. That'll help it get healthier faster.

i have been feeding it everyday from day one its supper sticky and the mouth has never gaped open
i think its looking better then it was when i got it and hopefuly it will keep getting better.

not got any nems but what does mouth open mean(ie i know that you are asking is the mouth open , but why what does an open mouth mean) , sorry to jump in mate

most times it means its on its way out kinda like its last gasp of life

yeah, an anemone with a gaping mouth is usually the sign of a dying anemone. Sometimes, repeat, sometimes they recover from gaping mouths, but its a severe sign of stress. If gaping mouths are accompanied with non-sticky tentacles... Its probably only a matter of time, regardless of how appropriate the system is.
