i currently have a 25G tank going thru fishless cycling and am wondering on adding 1 or 2 bristle nose plecs into it i was just wondering how are the best ways to care for them and alos are they good algea eaters also compatability with other fish

any information on these plecs will be greatly appreciated :good:

They are great plecs! Very peaceful and will not bother others. I've had mine with platies, mollies, danios, tetras, gouramis, and loaches... he doesn't bother anyone and that's saying alot since the loaches go into his cave all the time.

If you want two or more BNs though, get them while they're young. After a couple of years of having my single BN, I thought I could go ahead and take in a friend's plec... but no doing, that was his territory and he shredded the other guy's fins. The other's fins did heal BTW.
