Cardinals And Tetras

Will cardinals and neons school/shoal together? I have 13 neons and would like some cardinals (they're on sale for $1 now too)

Also right now I have them with tiger barbs and zebra danio and nothing in the tank really schools much at all. Anything I can do to help them school?

Schooling is a defensive behaviour. If you see it, then there is something bothering/stressing your fish, this is what you want?

Not necessarily. But I'd still like them to hang out together. Um so will the neons and cardinals school together?

My Neon Tetra always hang out with my Cardinals. At $1 a pop whats the harm is trying?
