Today while feeding my tetras their flake food and a few dried tubifex i dropped an algae wafer into the tank for my shrimps and ottos to nibble.
Now the tetras ate all the flakes and tubifex in about 1 min then a few of them noticed the algae waffer on the bottom of the tank and now they are eating that to.
2 of my red fin tetras are also facing off with the shrips over it.
Is this normal?
Is this caused by underfeeding?
And most inportantly will it harm them?
