Does anyone know of what would cause only one red gill on my Cardinal ? I want to say 2 months ago I treated the tank for ich. It seemed as though all my fish were well and had recovered from it. And then I noticed his gill recently. I began a treatment of Microbe-Lift Artemiss Natural Expellant for bacterial diseases. I haven’t seen it improving his gill tho. I would very much appreciate any information or experiences please...

Can you take a photo?
How long did you treat the fish for ich?

The red gill can be due to ich, other parasites or ammonia poisoning.
What is the size of your tank and how many fish do you have?

Yes, Colin is best in treating of sick fish.

Hello,
A pic would be helpful ;)
As ich is a parasite that may produce more than a thousand offspring it could be a relapse. You really should put it in hospital tank asap.
