Cant handle baby fish?

Hi there.....I really like convict's...i was watching a tank of them at my local IFS and really liked them...also there were some firemouths there which were cool aswell. But the more i read about convicts im convinced if i got a pair id have a tank full of small ones in no time .....So i was wondering if i could just add 1 convict and 1 firemouth to my 65 gallon tank....I already have 6 tiger barbs and a red tailed shark in there. Thnx for any help...hope i can do this

Just watch them carefully for awhile, there could be some fighting in there if you just add 1 and 1...and see what the return policy is at your LFS, you maybe be able to return one or the other if there is a huge problem! Good luck....

I felt the same way. After two spawns with my convicts i passed them off to someone else.

I still have 20 baby cons to get rid of
