I've been trying to feed my open brain at night, but i can't get the tentacles to come out. He seems to be doing fine under just photosynthesis, but I want him to thrive. Plus plan on getting some more and some acans etc, so need to figure out how to get this one happy

I've had him for about a week and a half in the substrate getting lowish flow. he is about 4-5 inches from my LT plate coral and that sways gently in the current, so I def. don't think there's too much flow.

any ideas?

When you defrost your frozen food, keep the juices - collect them in a turkey baster and blast over the top of the brain with it, hopefully that will initiate a feeding response and you can then give them the food. You need to be running a phosphate remover if you do this, for obvious reasons :good:
