Right now I have 75 gallon with 2 emperor 400's filters and I love them. However, this tank is kinda set up as room divider, so the backside of tank looks real gaudy. :/

In a month or so, b4 july. I will be adding another tank :kana: :kana: :kana: Somewhere between 72 to 120. :kana: :kana: :kana:

This tank will be against the wall, so I will be moving both emperors to that tank, so I now need to know what is the best cannister filter for my 75 gallon.

I am planning to add cannister filter to run alongside my emperors, so it can establish itself, but what do I get? :/

I can't tell you what to get, but I can tell you what not to get!

Do not get the marineland magnum. I have had nothing but problems with this thing.
1. you have to attach bio-wheels too it form biological filtration and that doesn't work all that well. The one I owned ended up forming all its bacteria in the right size prefilter pad causing the tank to uncycle when I cleaned the carbon canister and the prefilter due to the really slow flowe through it.

2. From what I have heard about Eheim is the way to go. Do a search for these on the web see what you can find. I have ordered one and will get it on friday if you want to know how well they work just wait and I can tell you.

I use a Rena Filstar XP3 canister filter for my 55 gallon aquarium. It works great for me, and I have no complaints!
