I just set up my new 80 gallons tank and using 2 Fluval Canister Filters. One is Fluval 404 and 304. Is that enough?

Also, when set up new tank, LFS told me to drop in a refrig live bacteria pack to turn tap water to lake water and the water now kinda cloudy. How long do i have to wait for the water to be clear again?

Thanks

Assuming you mean US gallons, that is roughly 300 litres.

Now, a well planted tank should be turned over 2-3 times an hour, an unplanted tank 4-5 times an hour.

A 304 is rated at 1000 litres an hour, so for a planted tank is enough by itself. The 404 is a 1300 litres an hour, so for an unplanted tank, the two combined is well adequate, if the tank is planted you have to much really.

>>> drop in a refrig live bacteria pack

No idea what that is. However, you should expect a bacterial bloom in a newly set up tank during the early stages of cycling.

*** EDIT(S) ***

Why can't I spell any more?!

The live refrigerated pack is probably bio spira. Make sure you keep it in the fridge until you use it. It is the bacteria found in cycled tanks. I have used it twice with great results, and plan on using it again this week. If it is bio spira, you add the proper amount to your tank, and then immediately add a full load of fish so the bio bugs will have ammonia to munch on. Otherwise the bugs will starve & die off. Good luck!

yah. that is the one. I put it in the tank few days ago and dump in about 15 parrots. The fish ok but the water kinda cloudy. LFS said the water will become cloudy since it turn tap water into lake water. How much longer i have to wait for the water to become clear again? Can I buy one of those "pill" from Jungle to make it clear?

Thanks
