Has anyone got any experience of using external canister filters with Juwel Rio tanks, in conjunction with the internal filtering?
I have a Rio 400, and I just don't think the internal filter is up to the job, as I have some fairly large and messy fish, and will be getting more.
So I got a new Fluval, for about half price, and decided to add that.
I now find that the hoses don't fit under the hood, at the internal filter end of the tank.
I'd rather not have to cut the hood to make it fit, so I was wandering if anyone else has any experience of doing this?
