Canister Filters For A 90 Gallon Tank

What litre per hour rating should I be looking for in a cannister filter. It will be for a 90 gallon tank ~ 340l.

The tank will inititailly be set up for tropical fish, but I would like to be able to re use the filter if I ever change to tropical.

i use a filstar xp3 and aquaclear 110 on my 90 gallon. if i were keeping simply community fish, nothing messy, the filstar alone would be good enough i'm pretty sure

For a lightly stocked planted tank, aim to turn the water over 3 times an hour. For a fully stocked community tank, 5 times an hour. For messy fish like cichlids and catfish, more.
