Candy Pleco?

these guys are in at a LFS for $8 a piece. They are a pleco, and a specialty one at that as far as I can tell....

But nothing comes up on google...

any info here?

edit: also stuff such as final size, full length, ect would be niuce, because i think i'll get one when i trade my pleco in.

About £5 each in my LFS. Or at least some kind of Peckoltia I think it's the same one.

are these classed as a L15 plec as mine was labeled up L15 candy striped plec, but dosent really look like any of them.

they had clown plecs in the tank next to theses ones in the lfs and they looked simlar, need to get a better pic....

oh I'm perfectly fine with it. and he looks just like mine, but with darker color.

what do you feed yours?

my common pleco will eat cucumber but they mainly just eat the wood and i perzume the algie i say perzume algie as my tank has been running 11 months now and i have not ever had any atall, not even on the glass!!!! touch wood it stays like that.

most plecs dont eat the wood... Some Panaques do.

Other plecs will eat the "biofilm" that forms on the wood and tank surfaces.

You really should not rely on algae alone as a plecs diet. they need feeding food for them too.

sorry yeah, they also have pleco wafers two different types ... just they never seem to eat them as the clowns and firemouth tend to chop them all up first...
