Can You Store Live Rock?

I might be able to grab myself some lovely live rock from a tank breakdown, but my tank isnt ready yet, can it be stored in anyway which would avoid die off, would probably need to store it for about 5 days?

If you get a large plastic tub, treat it as if its a tank with the water etc.
I dont see why not.
I could be wrong though.
You would also need a powerhead for movement, as non movement will kill it off I think.

Yes you can, I have been keeping about 40 k in my 180 litre tank for the last few weeks - you just need a container, heat, flow and some light (natural light is ok)

Thanks , i'm not sure about the light requirements? I only have an 11wt tube in the tank till the lighting arrives & no RO water yet. I'm going to see if they can hold it for me till Friday, fingers crossed.
