Can You Put Plecs Together?

Hi all...

I have one plec at the minute and would like perhaps just one more of a different colour/variety.

Would they get on in my tank?? The one I have now is still only an ince in length.

Tank is 3ft long by 1.5ft deep.

Lots of hiding places and plants.

I think if you've got a common plec, you'd be overstocking adding another of any species. But if you have a smaller species, then many get on with others of a diferent species. Without knowing what kind of plec you have though, it's difficult to advise.
