My wife and I have both just set up our tanks. One is a 35 litre the other 68 litre, with the many types of Pleco around can we add one to each tank that won't outgrow the size of our tanks?

If so, which type should we go for?

Thanks.

It depends on the tank mates, but a good bushynose pleco could fit in nicely in the 68 liter, and possibly the 35. What other fish are you planning to stocking the tanks with?

Currently the 35litre has 3 platys and the 68litre has 4 platys. Was going to add a pair of dwarf gouramis to the 68litre at the weekend. I thought about some kuhli loaches for the 68 litre but both tanks have gravel and not sand.

If you get some mopani and drift wood, a clown pleco (also known as ringlet pleco) would make a great attractive little pleco for a 68litre tank- they stay small at 3-4inches long maximum  .
