Can This Be Done?

I was in my LFS today, just about to pick up some fine filter media for my Juwel Rio 180 and then remembered I had some spare polishing pads for a Fluval 2 internal filter. I am planning on sandwiching them between the 2 media baskets in the Juwel and was just wondering if there would be any problems that I have not thought of in doing this??

I am not sure how the Juwel Rio filter works, but you want to make sure that the non-polishing pads come first in the filter, then polishing. I do not know how sandwiching it will help. I would just have it be the last thing on the end.
