ive mentioned a few times in various posts about the hospital tank my neon tetras is in has salt in it (sharing with a sick molly). can they tolerate this, or should i be giving them truly fresh water? ph is generally 8 here, 7.5 with bogwood.

on i have just asked mrs biffster and she says NO !
she says the have a very low tolerance to it like cory's

i wonder if its that what
stressing them out you wiil have to
reduce the amout of salt slowly not to
shock them

yeah would account for some of the odd behaviour no doubt
trouble is, theyre in a tank with meds, so i dont wanna start removing salt by water changes, coz it'll not only remove the meds but it'll remove the salt which i need to keep in there for the molly! gah, what to do...
