Can Sumps Be Quilte/silent?

Right i just got a corner fish tank! it has a sump! im moveing all the bits from my 6ft tank to the corner! but the sump is takeing up the cabinet space! so i got no room for my wet/dry and filter!!


SO what i need to know is can sumps run silient! (its in my bed room and i dont want any gurgerling)

Or shud i get rid of the sump and use my wet/dry and two other filters....

Went for the filters insted the sump!

Well depends how big your tank is and sump as this will determine the size of the return pump you need. Bigger pump means louder noise usually. I use a new-jet 3000 and it is quite noisy, although I only notice it when trying to sleep!!
As with gurgling there are plenty of ways to get rid of that noise!!
