Can Someone Please Help Identify This Loach As I'd Liek To Get Mor

Hi, I picked this little fella up from one of my lfs the other day as he is stunning.

I've been trying to find some more so its not lonely. It was sold as a pakistani/yoyo loach

I googled yoyo loach and I dont think it is that. so I did some googling on similar looking loaches and found the polka dot, botia kubotai

I think its that one, so went to maidenhead aquatics in derby as they were showing stock and theirs look similar but different.

The ones i saw today didnt have any of the 'blue' markings in the black pathces.

Please help me identify him so he caan get some friends

Aye thats what I thought, weirdly the lfs had soemthing similar but different labelled up as the polka dot.

Oh well, keep looking for somewhere with true polkas

With young fish of a species as variable as B. kubotai you will be hard pressed to find similar looking examples in different shipments from where they were collected.
