Hi we have 3 of these but not quiet sure what type of synodontis they are?

Its not a petricola, it has a spotty tail. Or at least if it is a petricola it is a VERY poor chechz hybrid.

It resembles a type of cuckoo catfish, but with so many rubbish hybrids being imported it is impossible to say what species it actually is, You probably wont even find it on planet catfish.
