I bought a pleco that was labelled a spotted highfin. I would like to hear what you guys think though.... If anyone can identify it I would appreciate it.

This is P. gibbiceps.

Do you know what size these grow to?

Large if you don't, easily over 12 inches

as its a gibby. it will grow to over 2 feet, probably more( so will need a minimum tank width of 2 and 1/2-3 feet). even your standard 'common' pleco will reach in excess of 14 inches.
nice fish but it will outgrow the tanks most of us, will even own.
they shouldn't really be sold in the trade.
