I think that would be fine, but housing a RTBS and a flying fox together is not a good idea.... actually, housing an RTBS with most mild mannered fish such as guppies and platies is not the best idea. They can get quite aggressive.

How big is the tank?

35 gallon

can shrips jump out and what they eat

and what do u feed shrimps do they just eat off the bottom

My Amano Shrimp eat algae off of leaves, cucumber goes down well, they pick up flake and pellets, sometimes they swim up to the top to grab food :D they are scavengers so will clean up any leftovers.

As for jumping out the tank, I would say it is possible if you dont have a hood, especially if you have plants that get up to the surface.

Hope this helps :)

yes i do have plants to the top but there very quickly bieng eating by my rtbs

i hjave a lid but a bit of it wer the food goes in is bare

are they good to watch etc

They should be fine, they dont try and escape and spend most of the time either browsing on plants or on the bottom.

I must say that they are quite shy for a start untill they get settled in. It could take a few weeks before you see them but after that they are cool to watch, especially at feeding time, mine come trotting along the bottom then make a quick dash upwards to grab what they can, then they scurry off to enjoy :D :D

i did see a lps selling them but might go soon and get some

il prob only got room for 2

plenty of hiding places

Most shrimp will eat fish flakes, cucumber, even shrimp pellets, they're a lot like little vaccum cleaners :p
