Well I got a tank with a load of cories (mainly peppered) and i got one pleco (its a flash pleco, but its latinm name escapes me).

Well I also been getting a few guppies to brightedn up the tank. I got about 3, all under one inch (one was pretty much just a baby), well they seem to have disappeared! It cant be my cories, as it used to be my baby tank.

Is my pleco evil and hungry??

He's hungry, but not evil - just opportunistic. The guppies probably didn't make the transition to the new quarters, and the pleco sniffed it out, and ate them.

the monster

guess if he eating fish i should give him more protein rich food mabye :dunno:

The vast majority of plecs sold do not kill fish and are not predertory, but they are scavengers and will clean up any fish that die in the tank through other means. Your guppys most likely died through means nothing to do with the plec, how long has the tank been set up and what are your recent test results for ammonia, nitrates and nitrites? how many gallons is the tank and how many fish does it have?

my tank is 100% fine, with a comunity of breeding cories and fish thet have been born and raised there.

I guess mabye they just didnt settle well due to their young age

*oh and 2 guppies have dissappeared, not 3

How long have you had the guppies ? Did they disappear within a few days of getting them ? Did they show any signs of illness at all ?
If they were new to the tank, it could be that they did not acclimatise, died and that the plec at the bodies. But killed (almost) certainly not.

had them for less than 36 hours :(

I just found the store recently took all of the guppies that they had into quarintine :/

oh well i got a real nice one from another store, so never mind i guess
