A while ago I read an article about Dwarf Puffers. ( Not sure where ) Any way it said that you can put plecos and ottos with them. I thought they were aggresive to any other fish. I am looking into buying some Dwarf Puffers, but the tank I have gets a little son in the afternoon and a little bit of allergy starts to grow, so I was thinking to get some wide mouth plecos to go with them. Will this work? :/

since plecs don't really move about much, they usually won't attract too much negetive attention from the puffers. many people have successfully kept them together. keep in mind the plec variety and the size of your tank.............. i had my bn plec with my dwarves for just a few days, but i didn't really have proper hiding spaces for him so he did get a bit nipped. make sure you have places for him to hide from the puffers and keep an eye on the plec, watch for nipped fins and be prepared to move him if need be.

The Aqualog puffer book recommends plecs as an ideal tankmate for many freshwater puffers, including dwarfs. They particularly recommend bristlenose plecs.

We've never had any problems either.
