Ohhhh man is that true?????? Can Mollies and Platies really interbreed with each other? The fish store near my house which is JUSt a fish store, not a pet store and they've been around for years, claimed that they can! I've got 9 Mollies and 6 Platies... wouldn't that be fun trying to sort out the babies!

i think they need a biology lesson and to watch the fish a little more...

Platies and Swordtails can cross. Endlers, Mollies, and Guppies can cross. A Guppy and Molly cross is normally unable to reproduce.

Not true, these are impossible to cross, as are platy x guppy.
However platy and swords can, as can guppy and mollies cross breed.

Guppy's and Molly's can interbreed, the off-spring are infertile so aren't a real hybrid, a Guppy/Molly interbreed is very rare however.

as can guppy and mollies cross breed.

apart from being a poecillia member i think thats as far as their relation goes. I dont thing they will breed... Ever

I think you'll find you're wrong. I don't think Helterskelter would say it if it wasn't true.

ok then, i stand corrected. but will only truly belive it when i google it.

Ok i belive you :)

My mollies and guppies/endlers have interbred.
I have to say, the babies have some very strange colouration. Sort of mostly black with some black speckles and yellow dorsals. Very pretty
