well i have been thinking of breeding bettas......after i found aquabid im hoping to get a few there from bettyblue anyone have any info on her ? also how long can a betta live in a 16 or 34 oz. jar ??? thanx

It's not really a matter of how long could it live. If you do water changes daily, it could live for as long as it would in a big tank. The problem is it will not be very happy. Why have a fish if it is unhappy. If it lays around with clamped fins, it's no longer pleasing to look at. Find a 1 gal container for it, keep it's water as clean as you can, and it will be much happier.

oh no I would never keep a betta like that ...... maybve if i decide to sell i may ship in that but i have a 2.5 gal. ready for my male !! and im going to add me female to my 29 gal. with 2 swords and a plec and then remove the father to a 1 gal. after fry are swimming thanx though

Just keep the water clean as possible, and it will be fine till you move it.
