Can Identify this fish?

Hi bought a fish tank a couple of days ago and found this guy hiding. Can anyone tell me what this fish is?

Looks like a peacock gudgeon, maybe? How long is it? Whatever it is, it looks sort of stressed and sickly. I hope you can get it nursed back to health--I hear they're really cool fish.

It's a goby/gudgeon of some sort but it doesn't look like the peacock gudgeons I used to have; the colour and patterning is wrong. But the body shape does match.

purple spotted gudgeon (Mogurnda species), either Mogurnda mogurnda or Mogurnda adspersa.
