i have a jewel vision 450 aquarium its bin set up 4 bout 8mnths now i have 2 oscars, 3,green terrors, 3plecs, 3 clown loach, 1 texas cichlid and 1 blood red parrot fish all very young!!! im thinking about geting piranahs are any ov those fish compatable???

How many gallons would that type of tank be? I would just go with the Piranahs though, either way you will end up with some beat up fish.

Carnivorous Piranha are best kept on their own. Some of the vegetarian types will be fine if they don't get bashed by the cichlids. But generally if you are keeping a large predatory cichlid tank, then just stay with the cichlids and catfish.

If you are just starting out then stick with a species tank for piranhas. Don't mix them. Besides, your tank is overstocked as is.

I agree, would be well overstocked.

To be honest any fish you put in with piranhas are risky. Some can survive fine for months or even years and then they get eaten, its very unpredictable.

I would advise to get a species only tank for starting off piranhas as mr fishy said.

As the others have already stated Piranhas require a species only tank.

atm your main concern is that although your current stock is very young, they are going to grow, and none of those are small fish. if the plecs are all commons then you will need to rehome 2 as even 1 fully grown common pleco in a 450 is pushing it. Also you are guaranteed to have plenty of aggression as they grow especially with the Texas Cichlid and Green Terrors which can become Highly aggressive as they mature,

If any species pair up then you may need to rehome Everything else in order to stop them from being killed

best advice is no cause ur already over stocked so you should just get rid of cichlids if u want piranah's or just stay with cichlids.
