I am growing out a Fahaka Puffer, and he is about the size of a pea right now, and just started his week qt in my 10 gallon hospital tank.

His final tank is 100 gallons, so with only the single fish in the tank, with plants, can I use a fluval 307, or will a 407 be needed? I plan on also having a sponge filter on it.
The tank is 48"x24"x24".

I guess with only one fish in your tank, Fluval 307 is more than enough.
But don't you want to add more fish?

I saw in one of the aquariums in our river themed zoo, there was a giant Puffer fish with many other fish. The Puffer fish has like golden/yellow colour and the aquarium is about 8-10 feet long.

I would like to keep other fish, but seriously fish and most other websites recommend keeping them alone, as they will take bites out of tank mates.
