can i stock 3 kulis in my 10 gallon with..

so long as they have plenty of places to hide.....plants, driftwood and ornaments are what they seem happiest with. They also need a very smooth gravel as they spend so much time snuffling round for food and burying themselves in it.

Hi kevin007 :)

You mentioned in another thread that they were tiny little kuhlis and that the corys were only one inch long. This would be OK for a little while.

But, if you don't get a larger tank, you will be seriously overstocked in a few months. This will result in either stunting your fish, or creating conditions where they are likely to get sick and die.

Also, don't you have pebbles at the bottom of your tanks? Kuhlis like to burrow in the gravel and cannot get through coarse pebbles. And, of course, corys could injure their barbels on it. As lovely as it looks, it's not good for your bottom dwellers.

Why don't you have a little patience and wait until you get a bigger tank to get them. Then you could set it up with nice gravel and give your fish a chance to have a better life.

well the reason i asked again is because i have gave one of my cories to my cousin who thinks they're cute...she has brought 2 julii cories and i told her it's not enought and gave her mine :)

and my gravel is not pebbles i am sure kulis can dig in it :D

I have never seen kuhliis or cories dig in gravel. It just doesn't happen, any gravel is too big for them. I recently got a new tank and because I'm going to have kuhliis in it, I put fine sand (about 0.1-0.6 mm in diameter) on the bottom. A bottom substrate with a slightly larger diameter than that works too, but anything classified as gravel is too large IMO.

Other than that, I think Inchworm gave very good advice.
