I am wondering if i can setup my tank like this...

The basic idea is to be able to use the tank as a room divider.
So i would keep all the deco in the middle, so the fish can swim all around.
I am not sure of the filter placement though

If the output were in the middle of the horizontal section (as well as the intake) you'd get better filtration and circulation. Then, of course, you'd have to move the heater, too. (Or rather, get one).

What type of fish do you plan on getting? If it's tetras or danios or other space loving fish, that's a no-no.

However, cichlids would feel right at home there if you find the right species.

Sorry..."thermometer" = heater..i have no idea why i wrote that

Yeah.i know it would be better..that is how my tank is setup now.
Maybe i should just put it flat against a wall.

If i use it as a room divider, i didn't want tubes to be visible.

It will house angels, dwarf gouramis and bala sharks (for now)

Seeing as how it's best to have more than one thermometer, if you could dish out the money, you could add the same equipment on the other side. Of course, you'd have to get lower wattage equipment. :dunno:

If you could switch the intake/outlet, that would create better circulation of the water current.

Other than that, it looks good to me.
