A friend of mine gave my his 4 fancy guppies and I have them in my 60l tank but they are lost amongst the larger fish, so I was thinking could I put them in my shrimp tank or would they swim around eating the baby shrimp.

I have guppies in with some of my cherry shrimp and the shrimp seem to be still multiplying. It really depends on the type of shrimp eg Cherry, crystal, amano etc and their eventual size as well as how much plant life is in the shrimp tank to allow shrimplets to hide from hungry guppies, and the sheer number of shrimp you have. If the shrimp population is going strong and they aren't a tiny variety of shrimp then they should get along fine with guppies. Some people add salts to guppy tanks but with the shrimp I would avoid salts, unless they are a brackish shrimp variety or very hardy and not worried about pH.
