Can I Put Any More Amanos In?

Hi all

I have a 30tr tank with 5 female bettas and 3 amano shrimp. I would like to add 1 more Amano in there, would that be ok? Or have I reached the max. for the tank?

Perfectly fine, they have a very small bioload.

i'd add another 3, they are better in a larger school. as Vic said they have a very small bioload.

OKie dokies; I think I will go for a couple more then. Hoping that they are mixed with females and males, they are funny little things

Just to let you know, if you were hoping for babies, you won't get any, the eggs need brackish (part marine) water to survive. Only reason I say is because you mentioned males and females.

cherrys and blue pearl shrimp are easy to breed, quite prolific breeders I think..



p.s. you can keep them together too.
