Can I Put Another Tank On This Cabinet?

Please excuse the mess.. ... anyways

Hey guys, im just wondering... I want to get a quarantine tank, but since we dont really have space for a tank, mom sayz that I probably will have to put it on the cabinet, next to my 12 gal tank. I'm getting either a 2.5 gal or 5 gal, and I'd like to ask if you think that there's anyway this cabinet could support both tanks? And if it could, then will the differing weights of the tanks unbalance the cabinet and weaken it?

Depends on how stable the cabinet is now. If it has any wobble, I wouldn't do it. It's a little hard to tell not seeing the bottom half.

If you add a sheet of 3/4" plywood across the top, along with some diagonal bracing, it should hold.

it looks pretty safe. go for it. or if u are worried about it that much if u have weights around the house put some weights on there for a while and see if it holds up then
