africans and oscars require completely different water conditions and have different diets. also the oscar may not be able to put up with the bullying from the africans. i would decide if you which you wanted more. if you have these in the 46 gallon you mentioned in another post then i would definitely get rid of the oscar, they need atleast 75 gallons for one fish. you would be about to get away with a few africans in a tank that size.

:X second point I'd like to make....

just 2 days ago you were complaining the oscar was sick so what....you go buy ANOTHER fish and put it in the same tank??
try learning about fish before you buy them!!!

Bad idea !!!! My oscars required TONS of water changes in a 55 gallon and they get big fast.

yeah im not planning to keep the oscar for long.. maybe till it gets 3-4 inches bigger and imgonna give him away

keeping an oscar till it gets to a certain size before giving it away in my opinion is irresponsable (sorry)

Very Irresponsible, Just get a fish that can stay in your tank, I dont understand why so many fools come on this forum saying Im going to keep this fish in a this tnak for a month then give it away its rediculous..
