Can I Have Shrimp?

im thinking of getting some cherry shrimp but dont know if my fish will get along with them. I have got assorted barbs, 2 gourami, common plec and cloan loaches (the last two will be re-homed - didn't know how big they got!)
Also, how well do shrip 'travel' - looking on here and else where to buy some and get them posted to me as LFS's near me don't stock them.

So, in short, my questions - will my barbs attack / eat shrimp. And will they be ok in the post?

I would imagine the clowns would make mince meat of them.

Where abouts are you in the country, people might be able to help you out with finding/selling you shrimp, and remhoming the clowns.

sorry to barge in on your post but i have the same question!

however my stocking is:
6 bronze cory
1bolivian ram
1 dwarf gourami
5 colombian tetra
and some danios

timmybee, supercoley on here has lots of shrimp maybe ask him how they do in the post?

I am in Norwich, UK.

Im in a bit of a dilema about the clowns becuase i really like them, but i know they will way out-grow my 180L tank. How long do you think i can keep them before its being cruel? at the mo, they are about 2" long

If anyone wants to swap clown loaches for anything small that wont be fin nipped by Barbs, i'm open to suggestion...
