Can I Have A Kissing Gourami?

in my 240l 55ukgal tank, very well planted with angles plecos, corys, rams, tetras

can i have a kissing gourami, or could i get 3?

Kissers are renowned for being aggressive,i have personally found that the aggression varies from fish to fish,i have had 2 of them in my community set up for around 6 months now and they are fine,they are mixed with blue gourami,bala sharks,moonlight gourami,clown loaches,corys,plec,neons etc.

The Helostoma temminkii, aka Kissing Gouramis, can reach a foot in length, so you would have to think of moving them up to an even larger tank at some point in the future. The "kissing" that they do is actually aggressive behavior between the males.

I had 2 kissing gourami for about 5 year, and it was nice watching them kiss lol. They never showed any aggresion towards any other fish in my tank either.

I kept one 13 years and it grew to 12" but never showed any aggression to any other fish.
