so, I have a 5 gallon tank. it has:
*4 plants (2 large potted and 2 thriving java ferns)
*1 betta
*2 ottos
*2 african dwarf frogs
the tank is cycled and everything is fine as far as pH ( ~7.8 ) nitrite is 0 and nitrates are in 20's. so everything seems optimal.
but with that many fish, am i stocked or can the eel fit? and how well would it get along with others? do they get large enough to outgrow the 5 gallon? and what do they eat? i have the sinking hikari algea wafers for the ottos, can they live off that too?
i have a feeling an eel prolly won't fit so well in such a small and already (i think) stocked tank but i'm just curious.
thanks in advance for any help!
