Save to say i can move the 5 fish i have from the smaller tank to my new 1000l tank ?

powder brown
cardinal
powder blue
purple tank
tamatoe clown

few crabs and snails and 2 bristle worms boxer shrimp and cleaner shrimp ?

all at once ? or all the cleaners and a fish and then add 1 fish daily ?

thanks all

how long has the new tank been set up for and where is the filter from?

Have you got any livestock in the tank? Id start by adding some CUC and then maybe a week or so down the line add 1 fish and then slowly add the rest making sure to leave about 2weeks or so in between adding each fish. Constantly monitior params to make sure your nitrates dont rise too vastly!

Also what you using for filteration? and how much LR have you got in the tank?

tank has been running for a month tank. been running for a week with a 3 crabs and 3 snails, 2 corals thats doing well,

only have about 50kg in there of liverock at the moments,

i have an overflow on the side with filter wool on top changed weekly, ceramic rings under that, under in the first chamber of the sump i have 1 bag of carbon and 2 bags of elimi phos, next chamer about 20kg of live rock next chamber reeftek skimmer and last chamber 6000l an hour return pump and heaters...

did the tank cycle, ie did you get an ammonia and nitrite reading during the last month. If yes then it should be safe to move the fish across, but if not then move the clown fish and cardinals across and monitor the water quality over the next few weeks. You can also take some of the filter materials from the original tank and add them to the new tank's filter. It should help get things going pretty quickly.

Dunno if I'd go straight ahead with all 5 at once, but maybe 2 or 3 to start, check to make sure ammonia doesn't spike for a day or two. If no ammonia spikes, add the rest
