i was at the lsf yesterday, and i saw some very nice colored guppies, however the colores looked fake (too bright).

Is it possible that they are painting guppies too :/ or could it be that they are real.

I did ask the LSF but his answer was :dunno:

they couldve been endlers livebearers

the reason i got confused is that i have endlers but they are not as colorfull, anyway i couldnt resist, might as well for them to be rare so i went and gotten the two males they are both orange, pink and yellow.

the pics are a little bit blury but the little buggers just kept on jumping from one side to the other, so i couldnt get a steady shot

A bit blurry, yes :D I don't think they're dyed, I have no idea what variety the ones with the two orangey bits in the tail are (they look like theyve got a split tail, but they don't) I know the bluey one in pic 3 is a mosaic one, I think, but that is not dyed. Personally I wonder how you could dye them. And why.

they almost look like a hybrid guppy-endler. it also could be some kind of lyretail hybrid. i've seen some pretty interesting fancy/hybrid endlers at swampriveraquatics.com
